Cancellation and refund policy

Before submission

Until an order has been submitted for registration it may be cancelled by e-mail quoting the order reference. The full amount of CHF 48.00 is refunded.

After submission

Once the e-vignette has been registered to the licence plate, the official charge of CHF 40.00 is non-refundable, as the vignette is issued and valid with immediate effect.

The service fee of CHF 8.00 is refunded where the order failed or was submitted incorrectly as a result of an error attributable to Swissvignette.

Incorrect data

Where the licence plate supplied was incorrect, the vignette remains valid for the plate registered and cannot be transferred. Assistance with a replacement order is provided; the official charge cannot be refunded.

Requesting a refund

Refund requests should be sent to the contact address quoting the order reference and the reason for the request. Requests are answered within five working days and approved refunds are returned to the original card.
